Diversity Hair retains proof of posting for every item and will not be held responsible for any lost items, but will always do our best to help you claim, should your package go missing. For international customers we have explained ways for you to get cheaper shipping, so please read before ordering to get the best price.
Orders made before 3pm will go out same day. Orders after 3pm will go out the following working day.
UK
There are plenty of options for shipping in the UK. Listed as follows.
Please note that some shipping options have a weight limit, if this limit is exceeded then the price displayed at checkout will be £9,999.00 for that option so you know to pick the other options (unless you want to pay excessive postage ;)
First Class post Small Packet – This is valid for anything up to 4kg in weight allowing 1-3 days for delivery, but normally delivered next working day. This does not allow you to track your item, but should Royal Mail lose your package you are covered up to a maximum value of 100 First Class stamps or up to the market value, whichever is the smaller amount.
First Class Recorded Signed for Small Packet - This is valid for anything up to 4kg in weight allowing 1-3 days for delivery, but normally delivered next working day. This is trackable and a signature will be required on delivery. Should Royal Mail lose your package, you are covered up to a maximum value of 100 First Class stamps or up to the market value, whichever is the smaller amount.
Special Delivery - This is valid for anything up to 10kg in weight and is delivered next day by 1pm. Please note if your order is being sent to a work address on a Friday, you may not receive it until the Monday. This is trackable and a signature will be required on delivery. Should Royal Mail lose your package, they will refund the actual loss, up to a maximum value of the service used, or up to the market value whichever is the smaller amount.
Parcelforce Express 48 - This is valid for anything up to 30kg in weight. Guaranteed delivery in two working days to the majority of UK destinations. Online tracking and proof of delivery. Up to £50 compensation for loss or damage.
Parcelforce Express 24 - This is valid for anything up to 30kg in weight. Guaranteed next working day delivery by close of business to the majority of UK destinations. Online tracking and proof of delivery. Up to £100 compensation for loss or damage.
Overseas orders
The options for shipping internationally are listed as follows. If you are placing a big order that weighs more that 2kg (weight will be listed at checkout for you) you may find it cheaper to split your order into two consignments, as Parcelforce can get quite expensive. (for example, a Parcelforce value shipping option to Hungary for a 4kg package would cost you around £41, whereas splitting it into two orders will mean I can ship out each part of the order to you using international signed for shipping at approx £15 a package - £30 total, or by normal Airmail at approx £11 a package - £22 total making it a lot cheaper for you to receive your goods).

Royal Mail Airmail Small Packet - This is valid for anything up to 2kg in weight allowing 3-5 days for delivery. Item cannot be tracked with this service, and compensation for loss or damage is negotiable with Royal Mail, but not guaranteed.
Royal Mail International Signed For Small Packet - is valid for anything up to 2kg in weight allowing 3-5 days for delivery. International Signed For items are electronically tracked only up to the point they leave the UK. Compensation for loss or damage is available from Royal Mail for the value of the package.
Parcelforce Global economy - This is valid for anything up to 30kg in weight and is only available to certain countrys. Delivery from 20 working days. Item cannot be tracked with this service. No compensation available for loss or damage.
Parcelforce Global Value - This is valid for anything up to 30kg in weight. Delivery within 4-7 days. Item cannot be tracked with this service. Up to £50 compensation for loss or damage.
Parcelforce Global Priority - This is valid for anything up to 30kg in weight. Guaranteed delivery between 3-5 days. Item is trackable. Up to £100 compensation for loss or damage.
Customs Charges
Those of you living outside of the UK may find your orders are subject to customs charges. We MUST write the package contents on the packet by law. We cannot and will not mark any orders as gift.
In the case of free gifts, if your order meets the criteria for free gifts as advertised on site, and you are worried about having to pay extra customs charges for them, then please be sure to tell us that you do
not want them included at checkout. We are not responsible for any customs charges you incur for you order. The customer assumes all responsibility for any customs charges once the order has been placed.
Returns
We cannot accept returns of any goods on our site due to health and safety regulations in regard to hair hygiene. The only exception to this rule is for the Corioliss hair straightening irons which can be returned for refund if found to be faulty. They must be returned intact with all original documents and box. In the unlikely event of goods being sent in error, please email us and return to us by recorded post. A refund or exchange for the right items will be issued on receipt. When any goods are returned to us as a result of us making a mistake, we shall refund the return postage cost on receipt.
Loss/delay in transit
Once an order has shipped it is soley the responsibility of the mail/courier service. Diversity Hair is not liable for any loss, delay, damages, charges, costs or expenses caused by an item not reaching its destination. Most mail/shipping companies ask that customers wait 28 days before filing a claim. We recommend you wait this time if you have a non-delivery, and we will offer our information and help with claims should a problem arise. We can provide all tracking information for your package on request.
