Synthetic dread extensions can be done in two ways.

The first being Synthetic double ended dreads. These are made up in advance for you and then braided into your hair. They can be worn in the hair for up to 3 months and can be re-used again and again.

They come in many different styles (solid colour, two tone, graduated, swirled, candy cane, marbled, blended etc) and 3 different lengths (half (12”), mid (16-18”) and full (21-24”)). Since these dreads are braided in, it is recommended to match to your hair colour in order to hide the braids. These take 1-2 hours to put in your hair.

Then there are wrapped dreads, which is where the synthetic hair is braided into your own and then wrapped with more synthetic hair to form dreads hiding the braided part. They can be done in the above styles and lengths. These cannot be reused and take around 3-5 hours to put in your hair. Although most of your hair is covered, it is still recommended to match your hair colour, as roots will be visible.
